Groundbreaking Legislation
Each of these ordinances represent incredible progress in the fight against research puppy mills and dog experimentation. Richland Center passed the first ban in the entire country. A few months later, Spring Green residents passed the ban via a ballot initiative, winning a majority of the public vote and demonstrating that the majority of citizens support the ban.
